This immersive journey through Estonia combines culture, wellness, gastronomy, and authentic local traditions. The program begins in the medieval capital Tallinn, continues through the academic city Tartu and unique ethnic regions such as Setomaa, and finishes with relaxing days at the seaside Toila Spa on the Baltic coast.

Guests will experience Estonia through historic towns, ethnic traditions, artisan workshops, national cuisine, nature parks, and spa wellness. The itinerary balances guided cultural exploration with leisure time and relaxation.

DESTINATIONS ON THE ROUTE

Day 1 – Wednesday:

Embark on a thrilling adventure as you depart from Vancouver for a captivating journey to the heart of Estonia.

Day 2 :

Arrival in Tallinn. Drive to the hotel. Dinner in a hotel.

Leisurely evening to adjust the time difference. Relax in the hotel Spa area.

Dinner in a hotel.

Day 3 :

Tallinn sightseeing tour by bus.
1,5 hours – 1,5 hours walking tour in Old Town.
National lunch at an open air museum. Visit the Open Air ethnical museum.

10.00.-13.00. tour of Tallinn.
13.30- 14.30 lunch. 14.30.- 16.00. Open air museum.

Free time in the evening.

Option: Organic cosmetics workshop.

In the workshop, we will prepare a home spa kit consisting of bath salts, body scrub and lip balm. All products can be taken home from the workshop in a beautiful textile bag. For extra charge. Price: 35 – 40 EUR/person.

Day 4 :

Morning – Special Ladies tour curated by stylist Jane Mändsoo. Visit boutiques and also some second hand shops. Jane will help you to pay attention to Estonian style and some special items to wear or buy. (duration 3 hours.)

Afternoon drive to Tartu (190 km. – 2,5 hours). Short city tour of Tartu. Accommodation in Tartu.

Day 5 :

Drive to Setomaa.(the Seto ethnic area of Estonia) Visit Seto Museum. Program of Seto national clothes. (one woman from the group will be fully dressed in Seto national festive clothes).

Workshop: making local cheese called “sõir”. Degustation, lunch.

Visit Vana- Jüri soap shop. Vana‑Jüri Soap Shop crafts characterful, natural soaps inspired by Estonia’s wild landscapes — from smoky tar soap to refreshing bog‑water bars.

Drive back to Tartu by the evening.

Day 6:

Drive to Rakvere.

Visit Russian Believer’s villages. Stop at one onion growing farm ( taste samovar tea and local onion pie.) Entrance: Russian Old Believer’s museum at Kolkja.

Option: wine degustation at Alatskivi. Small private winery producing wines from rhubarb, and local berries. Accommodation in Rakvere.

Day 7 :

Visit Rakvere Bishop castle. Program: Medieval Adventure. Medieval lunch at the castle.
Visit Toila Oru park (formerly the site of the first President of Estonia’s palace, destroyed during World War II; now viewable through VR glasses for an immersive experience).
Drive to Toila Spa by the evening.
